Lok Sabha Polls 2014: List of 20 AAP candidates out, suspense on Kejriwal continues

New Delhi: After calling it quits and resigning from power in Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is all set to prepare for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
 
AAP's first list of candidates is out and names 20 candidates.
 
Some of the names:
 
  • Yogendra Yadav will contest from Gurgaon constituiency.

  • Kumar Vishwas is the party’s candidate from Amethi against the Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi

  • Anjali Damaniya will contest against the BJP leader Nitin Gadkari from Nagpur
 
  • Former banker Meera Sanyal will fight against two time MP Milind Deora from South Mumbai
 
  • Senior lawyer and social activist fighting for justice for 1984 Sikh victims HS Phoolka wil fight from Ludhiana in Punjab from party ticket.

  • Former builder Mayank Gandhi is fighting against former Union Minister and AICC general secretary Gurudas Kamat from North—west Mumbai.

  • Former journalist Ashutosh Gupta will contest against the Union Minister Kapil Sibal from Chandni Chowk, Delhi.

  • Social activist Medha Patekar will contest from Mumbai north east

  • Mukul Tripathi to take on Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid from Farrukhabad.
Whether AAP covener Arvind Kejriwal enters the political fray for the parliamentary polls is still to be seen.
