India vs NZ second Test Day 4: McCullum scores double ton, puts NZ in driver's seat

Wellington: The fourth day of the second Test being played between India and New Zealand at Basin Reserve stadium in Wellington saw Kiwis staging a brave fightback after playing underdog for most part of the day 3.
 
Skipper Brendon McCullum and wicketkeeper batsman BJ Watling batted with full command in the morning putting the hosts in a comfortable position.
 
McCullum scored a double ton and is  batting at 281, ably supported by JDS Neesham at 67 at the draw of stumps.
 
Earlier, Watling was dismissed after scoring fluent 124. He was trapped lbw by Mohammad Shami.
 
Kiwi skipper has now scored two back-to-back double centuries in the ongoing series.
 
With this, he becomes the only batsman to score three double tons after Aussie batsman Ricky Ponting.
 
New Zealand are 571 for the loss of 6 wickets at the day's end. Kiwis are leading by 325 runs to India with 4 wickets still intact.
