Kareena Shoots Ad With Hollywood Hottie Eva Mendes's Team

Global hotties Eva Mendes and Eva Longoria are the fabulous faces of the Magnum ice-cream brand.

Now it's Kareena Kapoor who is the ice cream's brand ambassador in India.On Sunday Kareena shot her first ad for the ice cream.

To ensure international standards , the entire team that shot the ads for the two enchanting Evas, Mendes and Longoria ,was flown into Mumbai from New York for the Sunday ad.

And to ensure that Kareena looked her international best her habitual stylist Manish Malhotra was set aside just this once. Instead young dynamic Tanya Ghavri who has been working sartorial miracles on Sonam Kapoor and Ilena d'Cruz was roped in to do Kareena's look for the ad.

Taking a break from the very stylish ad-shoot on Sunday Kareena said, `It's amazing to work with international brands and teams.

Yes, I am shooting an ad with the crew that did the ads for Eva Mendes and Eva Longoria. Their style of working is very different from our own very talented ad-makers.`

About not having her favourite designer Manish Malhotra on board Kareena says, `Manish is family. There is no question of replacing him. I just wanted to try another stylist for this ad. We all need to work with different people, experience new strains of creativity. Or we stagnate. And to me stagnation is death.`



The actress who has now washed her hands off Karan Johar's Shuddhi is getting ready to shoot Dev Benegal's Bombay Samurai in May.

While it's too early to discuss her role one has good reason to believe that Kareena would be kicking serious ass in the film. If sources are to be believed she has heavy-duty action scenes to perform in Benegal's scenes.

Both Farhan Akhtar and Kareena go into intense training to look fighting-fit for for Benegal's film.

And Kareena needs to again lose some more weight for the role.

`Not Size 0, God forbid! But I need to look leaner specially since my co-star is one of most sinewy guys in our cinema,` laughs Kareena.

Shaadi Ke Side Effects(SKSE) is a completely contrasting world from Bhaag Milkha Bhaag?
Oh absolutely. And you can see the difference in the way I promote the two films. A certain mood of fun and dance has crept into the promotion of SKSE. Of course we danced while promting BMB.But it would beeen unfair and disrespectful to make light of Milkhaji's life and struggle during the marketing of BMB. SKSE is a more fun-oriented film.

SKSE too has a serious message?
I wouldn't say it has a serious message. But it has a heart. It's a heart-warming experience. It's about how the Indian husband yearns to have the life of a single man even after marriage.

Some mediapersons try to connect the film with your own marriage. Is that an embarrassment ?
It isn't an embarrassment. But it is unnecessary. I am playing a role in SKSE. I am playing a character in the film. There is no similarity with my real life.

And Vidya Balan what was it like working with her?
To begin with, she's a tremendous actress. So natural , grounded and so umcomplicated. It was a pleasure to be around her. It was a true joy to work with her.We had optimum time together since most of the screen time is shared between us. I'd say we've developed a friendship during the course of the shooting.



Did you know her before this film?
No,before shooting the film we didn't know each other at all. And I don't open up easily to people I am not close to. But the need of the hour was to develop a compatibility. And I did just that.And I didn't regret it at all.

Was the ice between the two of you broken immediately?
The first thing I noticed about Vidya was that she laughed a lot. She has an infectious laughter. When she laughs you feel like laughing along. Then we started hanging out together.We shared quite a few laughs. Within the first two days we began feeling comfortable with one another.

What next?
I start Zoya's film in May.I am with Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma. Interesting cast ? That's Zoya for you. We'll be shooting in the open sea.

I hope you're not seasick?
I will soon found out.Then I've Vidhu Vinod Chopra's film directed by Bejoy Nambiar. Though I am just an actor in the film you know how Vinod Chopra is. There is a lot of give-and-take of ideas.

Do you give your inputs to the director when you're just acting?
I don't hold myself back. If I feel there's something that needs to be said during shooting I say it.

I am not pregnant: Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan says she loves and lives cinema. However, she has an interesting take on her passion, `I am not the kind who stresses on work all the time. I like spending time with my family, catching up on a movie or playing with my nephew and neice. I like to experience the liitle joys of real life to get inspired and give back these experiences to my reel life.`

Marital magic
I was married for just two months when I started shooting for my upcoming film with Farhan Akhtar. So, I couldn't draw inspiration from my real life to play a married woman with a newborn baby. The situations in the film are so close to real life that they will make you smile and chuckle. As women, we tend to react differently to different situations but most men have a generic reaction to a situation (laughs). The situations will create empathy but are not meant to trivalise or caricaturise the characters.

Unusual pairing
Farhan and I are usual actors who like doing unusual roles. In fact, even before I did this film, people would tell me to do a film with him. Farhan has an overall perspective on a film because he's a scriptwriter, director, musician and actor all rolled into one. There's a certain subtlety that he has brought to the role. Underplaying or going over the top in this film would have diluted the characterisation.

No worries
It's almost a year since I had a release ('Ghanchakkar'). I don't bother about such things because my job is to choose my job instinctively, do my best and not bother about the rest. I never plan my releases. I firmly believe that work speaks for itself. Infact, I like the pace between my films to do other things that hold my interest. There's more to life than just films.



The nation's choice
I aspired to win the Best Actress Award. However, being honoured with the Padma Shri is more than I had ever imagined. I feel blessed and it gives me an impetus to do better work. In a sense, this award tells me that I am in the right profession.

Family time
Siddharth (Roy Kapur) is a very supportive husband. The best thing about him is that he's completely non-judgemental. The fact that he's from the same medium helps because he understands the pressures of time involved not only in shooting but also in promoting a film. We both understand each other's demands at work.

And to put the record straight, I am not pregnant. I cannot even think of starting a family this year because I have my work commitments and it would be unprofessional on my part to commit to my producers and then back out.

Sunny Leone's packed schedule is proving to be a tough proposition for her producers. The starlet, who has been shooting in Malaysia for Devang Dholakia's action flick, 'Tina and Lolo',needed to be in Mumbai recently for the launch of a song from her horror film 'Raginni MMS 2'.

Buzz has it that the 'Tina and Lolo' unit had to let go of crucial locations and shots in a bid to accomodate Sunny's travel to Mumbai. To add to it, they had to take care of her travel costs from Kuala Lumpur to Mumbai - all for the promotion of the film, 'Raginni MMS 2'. Says a unit source, `There was no way Sunny could skip the event, so the director had to allow her to travel to Mumbai and that too, at our expense. Shoot schedules are always interlinked as one follows another and even a small change can disturb a lot of other plans.`


Adds the source, `Despite a gruelling shoot in Malaysia for over 20 days and an already choc-a-block schedule, the makers of Tina and Lolo let her go to Mumbai. We are now shooting at break-neck speed to wrap up the schedule.

After Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha turns a boxer in her next film Holiday

Gunday girl Priyanka Chopra is not just the only one to pack a punch with the boxing gloves on the silver screen. Priyanka now faces competition in the Bollywood ring with Shotgun girl Sonakshi Sinha who will also be seen turning a boxer in her next flick. 

 

Sonakshi Sinha is riding high on success with five films last year and is now all set to rule Bollywood with three films lined up for release in 2014. While Priyanka Chopra will be playing the role of Mary Kom in her biopic, Sonakshi Sinha will be playing a boxer in Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty.

 

Sonakshi will be sharing the screen space with Manoj Bajpayee and Arjun Kapoor in Tevar which is currently being shot in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. Sonakshi will also be seen paired opposite Ajay Devgan in Action Jackson and with Akshay Kumar in Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty. 

 

Sonakshi had begun the shooting of Action Jackson even before the release of her last film R…Rajkumar and is currently shooting for Tevar.

SHOCKING: Actress Geetika Tyagi accuses Jolly LLB director Subhash Kapoor of molestation, uploads video of slapping him

Bollywood actress Geetika Tyagi, who was seen in films including Aatma, What The Fish and One By Two, has accused Jolly LLB director Subhash Kapoor of molestation. The actress posted a link to a video (click to see) on Twitter. “confession of the sexual abuser(sic),” she posted on the social networking website.

In the 31-minute long video, Geetika is seen with Subhash Kapoor, his wife and Aurangzeb director Atul Sabharwal. The director appears to be accepting his relation with the actress, but denied any molestation.

However, in the heated discussion,  Geetika alleged that Subhash forced him on her, and later slapped him.  Subhash’s wife tried to settle the matter, and said, “Only thing I am look for is protect my son.”

Atul Sabharwal, who was also present during the conversation, posted on twitter, “@TyagiGeetika more power to you. May this end the mental suffering that you've been going through ever since(sic).”

Sonakshi Sinha is all set to rule Bollywood in 2014 in an all new avatar with three films lined up for release one after the other. 

 

Sonakshi Sinha has performed a power-packed dance number in her upcoming film Tevar much on the lines of Priyanka Chopra’s “Ram Chaahe Leela” and Sonam Kapoor’s Kathak number in Raanjhanaa. 

Sonakshi will be seen in a similar avatar in the song “Radha Nachegi” choreographed by Remo D’souza and shot in Maheshwar, Indore. 

 

While Sonam Kapoor is seen performing Kathak in the song “Tum Tak” on the banks of Ganga in Ranjhanaa, Sonakshi will be seen dancing on the beautiful sets specially constructed near the lake.

Contrary to the reports which were rife that a body double will perform stunts for Hrithik Roshan in his next film Bang Bang, we hear, that, the superstar will do the stunts on his own.

 

 

An Insider says, “Body doubles had been arranged for Hrithik keeping in mind his brain surgery But when Hrithik reached Shimla he was not happy with the scenes so he wanted to shoot it himself. The body doubles will be available on the sets all the time. Hrithik will do the action sequences on his own. The stunts are designed by Andy Armstrong who was working on Spider Man 2.”

 

 

The insider further adds that Hrithik has always done his own stunts and he does not like body doubles. All the stunts are designed in the unique way making it interesting for Hrithik to do it on his own. Everyone is fine with Hrithik's decision.

 

It may be noted here, there was the delay in the shoot of the film owing to Hrithik’s prolonged pain even after surgery and now, it seems, Hrithik is on a speedy recovery, no wonders, he will perform the stunts on his own.

 

 

Hrithik will romance Katrina Kaif in the film with whom he has already worked in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara which also, starred Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol and Kalki.

 

 

As far as Bang Bang is concerned, it is an action thriller film directed by Siddharth Raj Anand. The flick is an official remake of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz starrer, Knight and Day.
