After Ragini MMS, director Pawan Kripalani is all set to try his luck at the box office with his another horror film Darr @ the Mall. However, the director has failed to scare his audience this time. There is not even a single instance where you will feel scary in the film. Blame it on the bad script, even the actors have failed to justify their roles.
Is the film scary?
Film doesn’t scare you at all. There are many flaws. Every sequence is predictable. The climax is shoddy and the director has clearly under-utilised the talent.
How are the actors?
Jimmy Shergill is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood, but the actor has failed to leave an impact in Darr @ the Mall. However, he can’t be blamed for the poor performance. Other actor who has tried to lift the film with her acting performance is Nushrat Bharucha.
What’s wrong with the direction?
After Ragini MMS, expectations were high from director Pawan Kripalani, but he has definitely failed to repeat the success. One would definitely not expect such a poor show from him. It is a mess and seems more like a compilation of several small stories.
Big Question-Should I watch Darr @ the Mall?
No. You should rather go for Highway which is also releasing this week.
