Roberto Cavalli accuses Michael Kors of stealing designs from other designers

Designer Roberto Cavalli has taken a fight with fellow fashion honcho Michael Kors by calling him a ‘copycat’.

The 73-year-old designer feels bad that nobody keeps a tab on him despite he always steals designs from others, reported the New York Post.

“Michael Kors, he copies everything!. It’s really a scandal and nobody has the courage to say anything. It’s really not fair,” Cavalli said.

This is not the first time Cavalli has made such charges. ”(Kors is) one of the biggest copy designers in the world. I just want to tell him to stop copying me! Stop! He copies everybody!,” Cavalli had said.

Although Shah Rukh is rarely commended for the fashion choices he makes, but at times he indeed manages to hit the right fashion note.

And we spotted a suited and booted Shah Rukh Khan at ‘Living with KKR’ press conference.  Srk looked every inch a debonair in the black blazer teamed up with black trousers.

And it was his pocket square which jazzed up his suit to an extent that he looked oh-so desirable.

Shraddha Kapoor adorns the March cover of Femina magazine. The 21-year-old seems to be following the footsteps of Sonam Kapoor, as she is more often seen preening on fashion glossies.

Showing no signs of ageing, the Gulaab Gang actress sat on the couch with Juhi, as they tried to answer Karan’s controversial questions related to their rivalry. The divas very ingeniously answered every bit of it and placidly presented in front of the viewers that they were never rivals.

Love in the time of fashion: Brangelina match tuxedos at BAFTA red carpet

While their fans are still waiting for them to walk down the aisle, Hollywood heavyweights, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt made a loving statement at the 2014 Bafta Awards, thanks to 

their matching tuxedos.

 

Though most of her contemporaries wore sizzling gowns, Angelina (who underwent a preventive double mastectomy after genetic tests which revealed she had an 87 percent chance of developing breast cancer and a 50 percent chance of contracting ovarian cancer) chose to follow her man's style. 

 

It was lovely to see Angelina acting as a stylist to Brad when she fixed Brad’s collar as they sashayed down the red carpet. 

 

Angelina Jolie took on the role of stylist as she fixed Brad Pitt’s collar when they made a surprise appearance at the 2014 Bafta Awards. 

 

The 38-year-old actress chose a black Yves Saint Laurent tux with a buttoned down white shirt and earrings by Tiffany & Co. jewels, Brad looked dapper in his Valentino.

Kareena Kapoor to be showstopper at LFW grand finale

Actress Kareena Kapoor will be walking the ramp for Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Summer/Resort 2013, which kick starts from March 12.

She will walk the ramp for ace designer Rajesh Pratap Singh.

“Yes, this year too Kareena, being the brand ambassador of Lakme, will be walking the ramp for the finale. She is quite excited about it,” Purnima Lamba, Head Innovations (Lakme), said.

“Being the brand ambassador, Kareena is involved creatively in some areas for the finale. She gives ideas, suggestions on various things like her eye makeup etc,” she said.

Pratap Singh is quite excited to present his collection, inspired by Lakme Absolute Color Illusion, as the grand finale designer.

“I am really looking forward for the finale. The collection will be a magnificent interplay of light and colour through make up and outfits that represent my signature style of simplistic cuts and flawless detailing,” he said.

“I had not met her anytime. My focus would be to keep her look to the essence of the show that spells mystery with each stroke of cool metallic shades,” he added.

The Lakme Fashion Week Summer/ Resort 2013 will be held at a suburban five-star hotel from March 12 to 16 where a total of 98 designers will be presenting their best collection.

Celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhora will be opening the fashion gala.
